Terms of Service
GetSave is a free tool for downloading public Facebook videos. By using it, you accept the terms on this page.
The service
GetSave takes the link of a public Facebook video or post and gives you the files Facebook provides for it, such as MP4 video, M4A audio or JPG photos. On the Private video page, it looks for the video in a page source that you paste. It is free and needs no account.
GetSave is independent. It is not affiliated with Facebook or Meta.
What you may download
Only download content that you own or have permission to keep. Whether a download is allowed depends on who holds the rights and on the law where you live, and checking this is your responsibility.
Downloading a file does not give you any rights to it. Ask the creator before you post their work anywhere else.
Facebook's own terms also apply to content that comes from Facebook.
Acceptable use
- Do not send requests with scripts, bots or other automated tools.
- Do not work around limits, security checks or blocks.
- Do not use GetSave to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.
- Traffic that appears automated or abusive can be slowed down or refused.
No warranty
GetSave is offered as is, with no warranty of any kind. There is no promise that a given video can be downloaded, that a certain quality will be offered, or that the service will be available at all times.
GetSave is free. It is not responsible for a video that cannot be downloaded, for what you do with the files you download, or for the service being slow or unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law where you live gives you.
Files and availability
- Files prepared for you are removed automatically after a few hours. Download links also stop working, so save each file once it is ready.
- Facebook can change the way it delivers videos at any time. A video that works today may stop working later.
- Features can change, and the service can be limited or stopped, without notice.
For rights holders
If you hold the rights to a video and want it blocked on GetSave, send a claim through the contact form with the topic Copyright claim. The contact page lists what a claim must include.
Each claim is checked. When a claim is complete, the video is blocked and is no longer available through GetSave.
GetSave does not keep a library of videos: prepared files are removed automatically after a few hours. To remove a video from Facebook itself, report it to Facebook.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
